Hezbollah has reportedly signaled readiness to attempt a coup against Lebanon's government following two security operations targeting the group. Authorities seized a Hezbollah-linked vehicle allegedly transporting more than half a ton of explosives packed with ball bearings and nails from the Bekaa Valley to Beirut and arrested two suspected operatives. In a separate operation, investigators raided a warehouse in the Galerie Semaan area containing cancer medications imported from Iran and India that were suspected of posing health risks. The importing company is reportedly linked to Hezbollah, with unconfirmed claims that it belongs to a son of Hezbollah leader Naim Qassem. During the raid, approximately 15 armed Hezbollah members on scooters reportedly surrounded the investigators, prompting the Lebanese Army to intervene.

The meetings will discuss implementing the framework agreement's military and security provisions, focusing on security arrangements in the pilot zones in southern Lebanon and on the details of the Lebanese army's deployment there. The source said the agenda will also include a mechanism for verifying the removal of weapons and military facilities from southern Lebanon.
