Military Operations Command in Syria: Israeli raids target Latakia port
The top US commander in the Middle East, Gen. "Erik" Kurilla met with Lebanese Armed Forces chief Gen. Joseph Aoun and SOCCENT head US Army Maj. Gen. Jasper Jeffers, who is co-chairing the monitoring mechanism for the phased Israeli military withdrawal from Lebanon. Kurilla was present at the monitoring HQ today "during the ongoing first Israeli Defense Forces withdrawal and Lebanese Armed Forces replacement in al-Khiam, Lebanon as part of the agreement," per CENTCOM.
