During an Israeli army operation in the Beirut area on Monday night, the Israeli army killed Adham Adnan al-Othman, the Palestinian Islamic Jihad commander in Lebanon. Al-Othman had held this position for several years and was responsible for planning and executing hundreds of attacks against Israeli army forces and Israeli citizens. Recently, al-Othman continued to promote numerous operations on behalf of the organization within Lebanon, including training elite operatives, recruiting militants, and procuring weapons for the organization

Lebanon's Prime Minister Nawaf Salam issued a statement saying Hezbollah's military and security activities are banned, hours after Israel responded to the Iran-linked group's rocket and drone attacks by launching air raids on southern Beirut. "We announce a ban on Hezbollah's military and security activities," the statement read. The Cabinet, in accordance with the Constitution, the National Accord Document, and the government's ministerial statement, rejected and condemned the rocket attack claimed by Hezbollah yesterday, which contradicts the principle that the decision of war and peace rests solely with the Lebanese state, and which also contradicts the rejection of dragging Lebanon into the ongoing regional war.

For your safety, you must evacuate them immediately and move at least 300 meters away. Remaining in the area of the marked buildings puts you at risk.

The Israel Defense Forces reported that during the night, Hezbollah fired several rockets toward Haifa and northern Israel. Hezbollah initiated the attack and chose to engage in this conflict, and will pay a heavy price for it. In response to the attack, the Israeli army launched extensive strikes against Hezbollah terrorist targets throughout Lebanon, including in Beirut. We targeted dozens of headquarters, launch sites, and senior commanders. We also issued evacuation warnings for over fifty villages in Lebanon where Hezbollah terrorist infrastructure is located, which we will target later. Hezbollah has once again chosen the Iranian regime over the people of Lebanon.
